Fairfax Boards and Commissions Overview
We have a dedicated group of volunteers who serve on the Boards and Commissions for the Town of Fairfax. In this section of the site, you can access information about groups ranging from the Planning Commission to the Tree Commitee to the Citizens' Disaster Council, and groups addressing many other topics as well. From time to time we have vacancies and seek new members.
The Town of Fairfax is currently forming an ad-hoc General Plan Implementation Committee (GPIC). The GPIC’s charge will be to monitor and facilitate the goals, objectives, policies and programs contained in the 2010 General Plan. We are currently seeking two residents of the Town of Fairfax to serve on this committee. Roster and Terms
Many citizens participate on Fairfax Boards, Commissions and Committees. By law, a list of appointments and terms must be made available for anyone to read, and is posted by December 31 of each year. Click here to view the current list of participants and their terms.
