Planning Division
Overview
The Department of Planning and Building Services provides staff services to the Town Council and the Planning Commission related to the implementation of planning and land use policies and regulations in Fairfax. The Planning Division oversees the enforcement of Town ordinances that govern the development and use of property within the community. The Building Division provides building permits for construction activity and code enforcement related to the California and Uniform Building Codes.

Office Hours
Planning and building staff are available at the public counter at Town Hall at 142 Bolinas Road. Town Hall is open Monday through Thursday, 8:30 am – 12:00 noon and 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm and is closed to the public on Fridays.
